We Still Dont Hear Him

clippers remarks: Spiritual death indeed.

The demographic group providing the highest percentage of support for going to war in Iraq was white evangelicals (over 80 percent)

Much of the Christian right supports a economic and tax policy sharply in contrast to the Bibles passion for a more just distribution of Gods earth.

Its sad to say the greatest obstacle to Christian evangelism in our time are Christian evangelists.

?I come to this magnificent house of worship tonight,? said the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., ?because my conscience leaves me no other choice.?

Dr. King spoke of how, in Vietnam, the United States increased its commitment of troops ?in support of governments which were singularly corrupt, inept, and without popular support.?

In his speech, Dr. King spoke about the damage the Vietnam War was doing to America?s war on poverty, and the way it was undermining other important domestic initiatives. What he wanted from the U.S. was not warfare overseas but a renewed commitment to economic and social justice at home. As he put it: ?A nation that continues year after year to spend more money on military defense than on programs of social uplift is approaching spiritual death.?

His bold stand seems all the more striking in today?s atmosphere, in which moral courage among the very prominent ? the kind of courage that carries real risk ? seems mostly to have disappeared.

Civil Trial Rules King was Assassinated by Government Agents

clippers remarks: Martin Luther King?s family and his attorney, William F. Pepper, won a civil trial that found US government agencies guilty in the wrongful death of Martin Luther King. The 1999 trial, King Family versus Jowers and Other Unknown Co-Conspirators, is the only trial ever conducted on the assassination of Dr. King. The King family?s attempts for a criminal trial were denied, as suspect James Ray?s recant of what he claimed was a false confession was denied.

The overwhelming evidence of government complicity introduced and agreed as comprehensively valid by the jury includes the 111th Military Intelligence Group were sent to Dr. King?s location and that the usual police protection was pulled away just before the assassination. Military Intelligence set-up alleged photographers on a roof of a fire station with a clear view to Dr. King?s balcony. 20th Special Forces Group had an 8-man sniper team at the assassination location on that day. Memphis police ordered the scene where multiple wi

On April 4, 1968, US government assets murdered Dr. Martin Luther King. This is the conclusion of the civil trial jury from the King family wrongful death suit. The King family and Dr. King?s friend and attorney, Dr. William Pepper, conclude that the assassination motivation for the faction within US government ?leadership? was Dr. King?s planned protest of the Vietnam War for the summer of 1968. Dr. Pepper discusses the trial in the 4-minute video below.

As I wrote on Dr. King?s national holiday; an Orwellian tactic to falsely praise the man that the US government murdered:

Critics of Extreme Tea Partiers Showed Little Interest in Bush-Bashers

But even as Tea Party "fury" has become all the rage in popular accounts of their protests, some observers say the rallies are nothing compared to the anti-Bush frenzy at Iraq War protests in years past ? outbursts that the press generally ignored.

some media watchdogs say its unsurprising that the worst excesses of a protest movement are what get picked up most.

With everything that is taking place right now, this is borderline stupid, If the media wants to demonize the Tea Party people as racists, extreme and what not, who cares. This has been going on in this country forever, all the way back to the real Tea Party, we just all forget what happened any time past last week. Remember Vietnam protests, as Bill Ayers he blew stuff up, the SDS, protests against integration, protest against protests for Gods sake.

if you disagree you have the right to

Amen
