AP INVESTIGATION: Texas man faked way into Army

Jesse Bernard Johnston III

FORT WORTH, Texas ? A Texas man with no military experience tricked the Army into letting him enter a reserve unit as a noncommissioned officer earlier this year, a deception that placed an untrained soldier in a leadership position in a time of war, an Associated Press investigation has found.

The revelation comes just months after the Army drew criticism for failing to flag the suspicious activities of the Army psychiatrist now charged with killing 13 and wounding dozens of others at Fort Hood.

Maj. Shawn Haney, spokeswoman for Marine Manpower and Reserve Affairs, said Johnston didnt complete the courses final six weeks. "He was never considered a Marine," she said.

On the Left, It?s 1964 4Ever

clippers remarks: The Rand Paul Circus Begins

Mind you, this is only the opening act. The issue isnt racism for Paul. Yes, thats unfair. So?? This is politics and that hardly matters, because the media, the Democrat spin machine and Lefty blogs are going to be all about branding the guy as that, and more. It was obvious they could hardly wait to get started.

And spare me the whining over principles. The vast majority of voters dont take the time to consider these issues that deeply. And nothing Paul supporters say or do is going to change that. The Constitutional battle was fifty years ago. It was lost. But Paul doesnt have the good political sense to stop fighting it. And if he develops it, surprise, hell then be labeled a liar and a hypocrite.

Here is the Catch 22. If Paul says he fully supports how the feds forced the private sector to end segregation he loses libertarian street cred, but by only supporting the results of the Civil Rights Act and not ...

Chairman Zero?s progressive leftist fanboys are giggling with glee because their smartest and most masculine thought leader, Rachel Maddow, asked Republican Senate Candidate Rand Paul a question he didn?t answer well? about the 1964 Civil Rights Act!

For the record, he could have answered it better, e.g. by simply stating that as a libertarian, he was wary of Federal Intrusion into private business decisions and that there should be limits to such intrusion. But, for Pete?s sake, the Civil Rights Act was 46 frakkin? years ago!. Put down the bong and look at a calendar, you stupid hippies!

The country has moved on, but the idiot left is stuck in 1964. Rand Paul is not going to travel back in time, Quantum Leap style, to vote against the Civil Rights Act. But if it makes you feel better, if he does manage to travel back in time, Timecop-style, to 1964, he would probably vote against the Vietnam War, too.

Feel better, hippies?
